Overview - 2026 Global CFA Society® Leadership Conference

Future-Ready Leadership: Delivering Value Together will frame the 2026 Global Society Leadership Conference around how CFA Institute and societies can lead with strength, adaptability, and shared purpose. Attendees will explore practical ways to strengthen governance, engage members, and position their societies for long-term relevance in a changing investment profession. The conference will offer opportunities for peer exchange, direct engagement with CFA Institute leaders, and discussion of ideas that can be applied in local markets. By coming together in London, society leaders will build relationships and insights that help their organizations deliver greater value to members and contribute to a stronger global network.

Optional sightseeing opportunity hosted by CFA Society United Kingdom
- For those wishing to see the sights of London, CFA Society United Kingdom will host a sightseeing experience on the morning of Thursday, 22 October for SLC attendees and their guests. Details about the tour and registration are available here.

CFA Institute will book accommodation based on your registration form response, covering guest room expenses and taxes as outlined in the Travel Policy. You will be responsible for any additional fees associated with incidental charges incurred by you or your guest(s). There is no additional charge for double occupancy at the hotel

For attendees whose lodging is not covered by CFA Institute, the room rate is GBP 310 including tax. A reservation will be made according to the information submitted in the registration form, and a credit card will need to be provided upon check-in. To book additional nights at the conference rate:

Visit the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London website and select Book Now.
Enter your preferred check-in and check-out dates. (valid on the nights of 16, 17, 18, 22 and 23 October)
Select the number of adults.
Under Rate Type, select Promotional Code.
Enter the promotional code CFA2026.
Select Studio Room from the available room options.
Complete your reservation and pay for the additional nights directly with the hotel.

Please note: October 19–21, 2026 are conference dates and are booked directly by CFA. The promotional code should only be used for the additional personal-stay dates.

Changes, Cancellations, Refunds: CFA Institute has negotiated reduced rates with the hotel and will receive credit for the rooms booked. CFA Institute is still required to pay for hotel rooms that are booked on your behalf but not filled. Therefore, please keep us informed of any changes in your travel plans. Societies whose registered delegates do not attend and do not request a cancellation of their flight reservations and/or hotel rooms will be invoiced for all incurred expenses. The notice should be made 24 hours prior to the flight departure and/or date of check-in.

For covered delegates, CFA Institute will pay for attendee airfare, travel insurance, and 3 nights hotel (the night before the SLC begins, and the subsequent two nights). Presidents or designated proxies who must arrive on Sunday in order to attend the Presidents Council Meeting on Monday evening will have coverage for this additional night. Travel and lodging for any other delegates should be covered at the society’s expense. Incidentals, including non-conference meals, transportation, parking, and additional travel costs are not covered for any delegates. We expect that all nominated society delegates will attend the full two days of conference content. If you are not able to do so, we strongly encourage your society to nominate another board member who can participate in the full event.

Hearing from society speakers during breakout sessions is consistently rated as a highly valued component of the SLC experience. In recognition of the value these speakers add and the fact that speaking in a session takes away the opportunity to attend another, Society Relations is issuing additional delegate invitations to the society leaders and staff who are asked to speak during the conference breakouts. Relationship Managershave begun direct outreach to individual societies with speaking invitations; we expect that process to continue through the end of July as breakout session details continue to be finalized. Flights and hotel costs for society speakers will be covered by CFA Institute.
